Introduction
Isaac Wass
The Subaru Impreza is a car synonymous with the rally stages of the 90s, made infamous by the late, great, Colin McRae.
With its rallying heritage, cult following, and rubber meets road attitude, the Subaru Impreza is every teenage boys dream - and for good reason too; its turbo-charged 4 cylinder boxer engine produces 220bhp and accelerates to 60mph in just 6.6s, making it a quick car even by today's standards and with Subaru's symmetrical AWD system the Impreza Turbo 2000 soon became a formidable car, both on the road and off it.
This particular example comes to market from ~23 years, purchased with just ~13,000 miles on in 2000, and having only covered ~36,200 miles now. This is an unmolested and pristine example of an original RHD British car, and with just 1 former keeper registered, recently serviced after long time storage, we think the appeal for this well cared for car will be for collectors and enthusiasts.
This listing was written from information supplied by Isaac after meeting Gordon the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Ask Questions
Hi. I think I probably replied to your query hastily without showing you the respect I should have. I’ve got other things on my mind that are going on in my family. Please accept my apologies. I’ve been unable to get to the car today and will get it out of the garage tomorrow and look. I’ll get back to you in good time before the auction ends.
Hi, the base of the drivers door looks to have some paint missing, is there any rust ? Thanks
Good morning Sizzler. Here’s where I eat humble pie. I’m sorry but you are right and I was wrong. You’ve obviously got a good eye. There is about half an inch just along the bottom of the door where there is a little paint missing. There is some light surface rust. The car is kept in the garage with a dehumidifier so it does look superficial and I would say it’s certainly not serious. It is not a Concourse winner but it is a very good original example. Once again my apologies
Are there any photos of the underside of the car please?
Many thanks
Lisa
I think one of the videos shows some of the underside but nothing taken with it up on ramps.
The whole underside was cleared of superficial rust and treated with waxoyl and a new exhaust was fitted at the same time around three years ago. Not sure of exact date but could find out tomorrow if you need me to.
When I had it serviced recently, the Subaru specialist said it was pristine and it was the best he’d seen for its age.
Hope this helps.
