Introduction
Darren Rungasamy
Even by modern standards, the Supercharged XKR impresses with its refinement and complete composure on the roads.
The XKR was one of Jaguar's most performance-oriented road cars when it was first released, solidifying its place in the sports car class. Combining Jaguar's reputation for comfort and ride finesse, the X150 generation of the Ian Callum-designed grand tourer offered an astonishingly elegant body style, with impressive elements of practicality and luxury.
Keen to keep the brand abreast of modernity and stray away from nostalgic reliance, the all-aluminium construction provided a strong and light platform for the 2009 introduction of the new 5.0-litre V8 Supercharged engine. Boasting an output of ~503 bhp, it was mated to one of the best automatic gearboxes of the era, a six-speed with the JaguarDrive rotary gear selector. Kept fresh by regular facelifts, the XKR has dated gracefully and has the performance to match.
This highly specified 2010 Supercharged 5.0 model has only ~51,025 miles on the clock and comes in black metallic paint and ivory-coloured soft-grain leather interior. Fitted with the Speed Pack option, hosting the aerodynamic body kit and speed limiter increased to 174 mph, the interior is furnished with a premium Bowers and Wilkins sound system, heated/ventilated seats and front and rear parking sensors. This well-kept example comes to marked after ~3 years with our vendor and has two keys, 13 service stamps and one a year MOT.

The XKR is stunning with the metallic black and leather which still has a wonderful aroma . No issue with V pipe or replacement or upgrade since I have owned her . Also nothing on full service history or receipts . Good luck
The cat looks fabulous. I was wondering if you had had to replace the V pipe or replaced & upgrade it as part of an upgraded measure. Thank you.
Could you please confirm :
Whether or not the tyre mentioned in the last Mot as having a deep cut has been replaced ?
Has the slight exhaust leak mentioned on the same Mot been addressed ?
Is there some damage to the leading edge of the passengers side front wing ?
One of the previous Mot’s mentions unlit Leds on both rear lights…I can only see an invoice for one…have both been replaced ?
Thank you
Hi
Tire was new 300 miles ago . The cut is only to the protruding outside edge and not affecting tire performance as mentioned in MOT as advisory- no action
Slight exhaust leak again is mentioned in MOT as advisory – no action
Yes, slight dent to leading edge passenger wing see pics .
LED lights i.e. fog lamps both replaced hence no issues on MOT.
The reg is OE10BFM
Hi. Can I have the reg please so I can check the MOT history. Thank you
Sorry just found it in the paperwork photographs. Was there a problem with the battery? I can see the latest service said it was programmed to the car and you were to monitor it
Battery all working ok
Hi Since i have had the car no replacement of tensioners and also can not see on previous bills . However i had a full service and car check by Jaguar agent Barney Jones in Nov 24 and there was no mention of any issues with timing chains . The bills are on the auction docs.
The 5.0 suffer from timing tensioner and chain wear, has this been checked or replaced at any point?
