A key benefit of our service is we take geography out of the equation for our buyers, as our consigners visit our premium vehicles and take hundreds of photographs of each and every car, as well as multiple videos including an owner interview, a cold start, and a road run.

Job Summary

As a Classic Car Photographer and Consigner you are the lifeblood of our company – our success is dependant on the work you do.

A typical day will involve you visiting classic car enthusiasts that have trusted us to sell their vehicle and spending quality time with them consigning the most desirable vehicles in the world.

Specifically you’ll be assigned clients to visit and your responsibilities will be to meet them at the agreed time (very important), take high quality beauty and technical photographs and videos of the vehicle. Once back at your home office then you’ll organise the images and videos and write up a condition report on the vehicle.

The success of our service depends on positive client visits that honestly and thoroughly represent the accurate state of the vehicle that our clients have trusted us to sell. The pictures you take, the videos you shoot and the interviews you host will give our buyers the confidence to buy premium vehicles from us without feeling the need to visit them.

Responsibilities

You will be dealing directly with our sellers, and providing the information which will inform our buyers, and so your responsibilities span across a large part of our business.

You will be responsible for the following activities around a circa 2.5 hour vehicle visit:

• Talk our sellers through any questions they have around our service.
• Take circa 50 showcase images and 200 technical images of the vehicles condition.
• Shoot circa 30 minutes of showcase, technical and owner interviews on video.
• Review vehicle history and photograph all documentation.
• Write up a condition report and vehicle history that will be published to buyers.
• Help us validate our expectations on vehicle pricing.

Job Skills

We will arrange a two day training course that will teach you all the basics you’ll need to be ready and confident to manage consignments. This will include industry knowledge, device and software training around the process of consignment.

All we ask is you have the generic and must-have skills below, and most importantly are hungry to learn and be part of our team.

The following are more specialist requirements that are needed to for the position.

• Laptop or desktop computer capable of managing images and videos.
• Own car and clean driving licence.
• Experience using digital cameras and videos.

Nice to Have – Specifics

The following are beneficial skills to have but not required for the role as full training will be given.

• Experienced automotive photographer.
• Experience using image and/or video editing software.

Remuneration

We offer competitive hourly rate dependant on experience, plus travel expenses.
