What makes your service unique compared to other buying methods?

A few good things  - we're a totally different type of service - think of us as an online marketplace for trusted sellers of classic and modern performance cars.

A member of our trained field team personally visits each car and photographs / videos it in absolute detail - we also go out for a short drive in the car to make sure there are no obvious issues and everything works.

Only when we're happy with the car, and the seller has passed out checks, then we'll add it to our Premium Classified marketplace.

We've been operating since 2017 and have sold over £20m worth of cars with great reviews, also we're just a phone call or email away if you have any further questions.

Do you check the vehicles?

Yes - we personally visit each car and spend up to 3 hours with each one.

One of our trained specialists will professionally review and photograph / video everything they can on the car.  This is so you can make up your own minds about the condition from the comfort of your own sofa.

The specialist will also take a short drive out as a passenger to make sure there are no serious issues with the way the car drives.

Do you action a HPi check?

Yes - we action a comprehensive HPi check on all of our vehicles that looks for past history including being written off, outstanding finance or stolen.

Of course, it's not unusual to have outstanding finance on a vehicle, when this happens we state this clearly on the listing and confirm with the seller that this will be cleared in full before the sale is completed.

Who and how do I pay for the car?

Once you confirm that you with to purchase the car then you'll pay online a 6% + VAT deposit to us - this will secure the car and we'll draw up the sale agreement for you to review first.

Then you have 7 days to pay the balance to the seller electronically, i.e. no cash is accepted.

.

Once payment has been made to the seller, and the seller confirms, then you are free to either pick up the car yourselves, or let us organise delivery to your home address at a competitive rate.

Can I get finance on the car and how does it work?

Yes you can - we know you may want to spread the cost of the car over a longer term - so we have negotiated competitive finance options with trusted performance car lenders that you can apply for - we can facilitate a quick decision within 24 hours in most cases.

Do you provide a warranty with the car?

No - all cars are sold on a 'Private Sale' basis, meaning the sale is directly between you (the buyer) and the seller - so cars are 'sold-as-seen'.  However, you can see the extraordinary lengths we go to representing the cars accurately and in the most detail possible.  Please review all the images and videos before deciding if the car is for you, and if you're still not sure then we can organise a visit for you.

What's the deal with delivery?

Delivery is not included - however, we have two trusted transporter companies that we have agreed a preferential rate with, and we can get a quote for you and organise this on your behalf.

Can I also choose to pick the car up?

Yes - no problem, you can choose to pick up the car from the sellers location.

We only sell cars via our marketplace that are located in mainland UK, i.e. currently any outlying islands to the mainland, including NI, is not covered by our service and the free delivery option for buyers is not available.

If you are located in an outlying island then please speak to us first to get a competitive delivery quote.

Where is the car located?

With the seller - the car's location is published on the listing and there's a map at the bottom of the page.  This is important if you wish to see the car in advance, or you would like to pick it up.

Can I view the cars?

Yes - of course, we only accept vehicles from sellers that are prepared to show prospective buyers.

Simply click on the 'I Want It' button and follow the simple online process.  A specialist will be in touch to take some photo ID from you and a recent utility bill - once those checks are complete then a viewing will be scheduled.

How soon can I get the car after I've paid?

ASAP - once payment has been made and received then in most cases we can organise delivery or collection within 72 hours.

Do you accept any car into your online marketplace?

No - ultimately we are interested in agreeing good quality and fresh-to-market vehicles from genuine sellers, that will appeal to our buyers.  We look for cars that are in good condition, well looked after, and with a good level of service history. 

How do you value vehicles and set the pricing?

We take time - to start off with we begin by understanding the vehicle fully, for example factory options, condition and mileage. Once we have this information, after speaking with the owner, then we analyse the market to gauge the vehicle against recent sales and set a price as low as we can to give you a great deal.

The price you see is called the Advertised Price which is the total cost for the car, excluding delivery if you choose that option.

How to you make sure sellers are genuine?

We get to know our sellers - as the security and safety of our community is our top priority.

We speak to every seller and personally visit the cars at the address on the V5 log book.  We also take photo ID and a recent utility bill that matches the address.

.

Plus we also action our own HPi check on the car that looks for past history, e.g. written off or stolen. 

Do you have anything buried in your T&Cs that I should know?

Our terms and conditions are very straightforward.

.

For example, the sale is between the buyer (person or company buying the car) and the seller.  We are a marketplace that sits between the two of you facilitating the sale.  The car is sold on a 'Sold as Seen' basis with no additional warranties.  Essentially it's a private sale - we are in the middle making sure it all goes through smoothly.
