This is the F335 you've been searching for - head and shoulders above the rest with just 1 previous owner, manual and motronic 2.7 - you know you want it already.

This very desirable F355 bridges the gap between the old small V8's to the recent 200mph supercars. It's the last hand-built Ferrari yet the first to embrace modern technology.

The 355 launched at the Geneva motor show in 1994. It was available in Berlinetta or GTS form with a Manual gearbox. Ferrari developed the new F129B V8 engine for the F355, it used the V12 F1 programme to adopt five-valve-per-cylinder heads, which raises the rev limit to a whopping 8,500rpm.

With a 2mm increase in bore, it took the capacity from 3.4L to 3.5L offering 375bhp giving the F355 the highest spec horsepower per litre of any naturally aspirated engine on sale.

We're really impressed by this fine example, owned by Craig since 1997. He has been meticulous during his ownership and it really shows.

Make no doubt, this car is perfect for a driver that wants the best '90s raw Ferrari driving experience, and also for an investor that understands how different this car is in a market that's flooded with poor quality / low history LHD examples.

Coming out of 24 years of ownership, Craig will be sad to see this prancing Rosso Corsa stallion go.

Craig is the second owner of this lovely Manual F355. He purchased the car way back in 1997 and ever since has taken meticulous care of it.

On hot summer weekends, Craig has enjoyed driving it around the North of England. He has had it regularly detailed and serviced by local specialists he trusts. Please take a look in the paperwork section to see the stacks of service history that come with this car.

The car has an aftermarket exhaust fitted, however, to protect the originality of this rare car, the factory exhaust was retained and is included within the sale.

Exterior

Over 1,300 hours of wind tunnel analysis for the perfect aerodynamic body shape - we think it's one of the best looking Ferrari's available today.

Wheels and Tyres

Fitted with 18" Ferrari Speedline alloys, each one is in excellent condition.

We really like the sporty stance of this F355. Craig has fitted high-performance Bridgestone Expedia S-01 rubber on each wheel. Each tyre has plenty of grip, so the new owner can rest assured this F355 is ready to be enjoyed.

Bodywork

Sleek and aerodynamic boxy curves can be found on the last hand-built Ferrari model. Over 1,300 hours of wind tunnel analysis while designing the body, the car incorporates a nolder profile on the tail and fairing on the underbody that generates downforce when at speed.

You can clearly see the amount of care Craig has taken with this F355 over his 24 years of ownership. All the shut lines look correct and tight.

We only noticed a very small stone chip in the front bumper which will be attended to before the car is passed on to the new owner.

Paint

Finished in a beautiful eyecatching and deep Rosso Corsa Red, the paint on this car looks fantastic - in fact it's one of the best finishes we've seen compared to any other Ferrari we've sold before.

The paint is even in finish and coat across each panel. A really lovely example that has been meticulously detailed and cared for over its life.

Glass and Trim

The glass and trim on this car are excellent, in line with the rest of this car. Every glass panel looks free from chipping or wear and the seals look excellent too.

The headlamp covers are unfogged and clear.

Interior

Beautiful handbuilt interior with stunning design touches - this is a special investor quality car from top to toe.

Seats and Carpets

The seats are finished in cream leather which pairs very nicely, to the Rosso Corsa Red exterior. The interior is excellent, as you would expect, and also has the optional leather headliner.

We noticed a little discolouration on the drivers bolster and handbrake cover, yet overall the seats are in excellent condition with the prancing horse emblem embossed in the headrests.

Fitted with red carpets, these are also in excellent condition, which can be seen in the interior images and videos. Craig also has a brand new set of Ferrari footwell mats complete with clips too.

Dashboard

The dashboard offers a simple driver-focused experience. All the dials and gauges are in superb condition with no wear seen.

Craig reports all the dials and gauges are working correctly.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

A black-finished steering wheel, with a carbon around the steering column can be found inside. Both are in excellent condition with very little signs of wear observed.

The manual gear stick with the classic Ferrari metal finish looks amazing in this '90s example - gives you goose bumps. Both are in excellent condition as you would expect.

Mechanics

A refined V8 monster, this car was the highest spec horsepower per litre of any naturally aspirated engine on sale in 1994, and still packs a mighty punch today.

Engine and Gearbox

The major upgrade from the 348 was the increase from 3.4 to 3.5 and the introduction of the 5-valve-cylinder head. The longitudinally mounted 90° V8 engine was stroked by 2 mm which results in the small increase in displacement. The engine internals are manufactured using lightweight materials such as titanium.

Craig reports everything is working as it should - this F355 has been treated to many specialist services over his ownership.

Suspension and Brakes

The F355 suspension uses independent, unequal-length wishbones and coil springs over gas-filled telescopic shocks.

Craig has always given the brakes and suspension the attention it deserves, with regular services at specialists during his ownership. Please take a look at the long list of service history in the paperwork section.

The Drive

The immersive experience you desire. Craig loves driving this car, he says, "it's thrilling and puts you in complete control all the time".

The F355 was the bridge between the older Ferrari V8s and the modern 200mph supercars with the integration of modern electrics.

Electrics and Other

The F355 saw the introduction of electronic fuel injection and suspension control servos.

Craig reports that all the electrics in the car are working correctly and always been given the attention when required.

This car also benefits from the Motronic 2.7 that increases the desirability even more. Craig tells us he believes there are about 13 or 14 RHD cars with airbags that have the 2.7 fitted.

The car comes fitted with a C-Tek battery adapter and 3-pin charging unit. An aftermarket exhaust is fitted and the original exhaust is also included in the sale.

A Sony stereo is fitted with a multi-CD changer installed in the boot. This F355 also comes with the Ferrari tool kit found in the front boot.

Low ownership, low mileage, manual, UK RHD and in the right colour - this Ferrari will tick all your boxes whether you're a driver or investor.

This car has been treated to regular servicing by main dealers and specialists, please take a look through the mountains of paperwork which will be included with this car.

Craig did have the car serviced last year (basic service) but the garage didn't stamp the book. This just needs to be done and will be sorted but Covid has mad it a bit difficult.
