Can you give details of any remedial paint work done please. What was done to the front bumper which has had a respray?
Hey Sukhdev – I’ve just spoken Paul on the phone. He said he took the car for an MOT a couple of years ago and one of the garage people accidentally hit the bumper when parking. It wasn’t bad but it was fixed professionally by Mercedes. Hope that helps. Adam

Hi Paul, any issues with the ABC pump that pressurises the complex suspension layout, or signs of leakage from the dampers? A common fault on CL’s.
Would of thought if there was any problem, it would have been spotted by MB Dealership, as they would be more than happy to relieve you of £3k plus to fix.
Hi Martin – I’m just replying on Paul’s behalf as he’s not very well at the moment. I had a chat to him and he’s not aware of any issue or any leak. The Mercedes garage did the service in Feb and MOT in July and I would have thought, like you, that they would have mentioned a leaky damper at both checks. Of course that was 6 months ago now but does seem the chances of any fault with that is low to me. Hope that helps a little.
Hi Adam sorry to hear that Paul is not feeling too good. The blue dipstick on Pic 8/32 is that for the engine or transmission oil? I know the later engines had no dipstick or sump plugs, with engine oil levels determined on the dash display. Regards
Thanks for your concern Marin. I’m really no expert on these car but from a bit of Googling I think it’s likely to be oil. Also being at the font is a likely clue. Perhaps someone viewing this listing can confirm?
Hi. Is this car an AMG ?
Hi Rich – apologies for the slight delay in getting back to you. Paul isn’t very well at the moment and I’ve just spoken to him on the phone. It’s easier for him if I reply on his behalf.
So Paul thinks it has the ‘AMG package’ but he’s not 100% sure. Of course there are things like AMG wheels fitted.
