The Ferrari 348 was first introduced in 1989, it was available in three variants TB (Berlinetta coupe), TS (Targa) and Spider.
Featuring a 3.4L V8 power unit, it was the last V8 Ferrari to be developed by Enzo Ferrari himself before his death. Overall only ~8,844 348s were ever built between 1989 and 1995. The 348 is a proper analogue supercar, fitted with a 5-speed dog-leg gearbox.
This specific 348 is a TS targa model, in current ownership since 2018. No expense has been spared with this car, it has recently had the gearbox rebuilt, and the car comes with receipts stretching back to when the car was new. Coming to market after ~4 years ownership, with ~83,000 miles on the clock, it's a nice example of the marques mid-engined V8's.

Hello Barry, the stereo was fitted in 2022 ahead of my big trip. I decided to also have the door speakers upgraded to jbl units (I believe) at the same time. The original tweeters in the dash are preset and still work well. The stereo itself is a period correct 90’s unit without Bluetooth, I instead use an aux cable. Many thanks Scott
Hi, I have 3 questions. 1. There seems to be a fair bit of overspray on the underside, have I understand picture correctly, if so is this from the recent works or another historical body shop visit? 2. The exhaust pipes look too low – has there been any recent work at that end of the car or any particular reason for that? 3. Hello, I was not initially sure what overspray you were referring too so I have reviewed the images again. The only overspray I can see is image #82 in the “mechanics” section of the listing. This would have happened during the recent cosmetic works I had carried out on the car, it wasn’t there beforehand. When the sideskirt was removed on the drivers side it unfortunately took with it some paint from the body of the car (at the rear most point of the sideskirt, where it meets the body) as there was an existing blemish at this location on… Read more »
With regards to the exhaust, it is not uncommon for the tips of a sports/aftermarket exhaust to sit that bit lower in relation to the bumper, I had a quick look at pictures of other 348’s on google and many have the same positioning as my own. Likewise I had a look at historic pictures of the car during my ownership and can confirm it hasn’t changed throughout. Finally with regards to the the roof seals, I can confirm the roof does not leak along the front and rear of the targa top (if this is where you are refering too?). If when washing the car with a pressure washer you aim the water directly at the area where the targa top meets the driver and passenger windows then a small amount of water will likely leak into the cabin. What exactly was the recent repair and paintwork that Jackson’s carried out, that involved removing a door and various panels etc.?
Hello, the car has just had a small amount of cosmetic work carried out to prepare it for the sale. This comprised of a patch of bubbling paint on the drivers side front arch at the lowest point behind the wheel. The repair was carried out using a genuine repair panel bought from graypaul Ferrari main dealer. The drivers door & sideskirt had to be removed to complete the repair. I have pictures of before & during the repair I would be happy to share. Hope this helps
