Introduction
Darren Rungasamy
The svelte and elegant styling still turns heads, placing the XKR as a barometer for elegance and power.
Open-top Jaguars have always had an allure of desirability, from the classic XK and E-Types right up to the modern-day models, each roadster offers a balance of styling harmony, comfort and in the XKR’s case, potent performance. An evolution of the X150 series, the XKR utilised advanced aluminium construction and state-of-the-art technology, while retaining the many virtues that the previous models had established. Practical, spacious and comfortable, the XKR proved to be one of the most rewarding of Jaguars. The balance of power with a genuinely dynamic driving experience; there’s over ~500BHP worth of horses waiting to be unleashed, yet its mannerism and grace allow that urge to be controllable in the most civilised manner.
Finished in silver with ivory leather interior, this XKR comes to market from ~10 year ownership, has just ~51,360 miles and has 14 documented services. The car has desirable options like keyless entry/start, heated electric memory sears, cruise control, automatic lights, parking sensors front and back. It was last serviced in July 2024 ~2,000 miles ago, has an MOT to July 2025 and comes with its full owner's wallet and booklet and two keys.

Hi Richard,
Has the XK had the timing chain tensioners upgraded
It is not necessary for this model (MkIII 2009) as my understanding is that the metal-based tensioner kit was introduced in 2005.
Hope that helps!
Could I have the reg please
Hi
It is AJ09 GFU.
Richard
Hi, any problems with the air con? Has the bodywork started to oxidise anywhere? Thanks
Hi
No problems with the aircon and (per the description) there is one small bit of oxidisation near where the soft top meets the bodywork on the rear driver side wing. I can send a photo of it but it measures about 5mm long.
