With Jaguar underpinnings built into the impeccably engineered Shamrock chassis, a 5.7 litre Chevrolet powerplant and drive delivered to the rear wheels though a manual 4 speed gearbox, this car is a force to be reckoned with.

Just imported from South Africa this one owner, right hand drive 350 appears in great condition. It’s the hardtop version and is equipped with HEI electronic ignition and custom side pipes. The interior looks fantastic and the engine bay presents extremely well. Sculpted lines with flowing continuity – few stylists have managed to combine elegance and a sense of brutal power quite so brilliantly.

Wheels and Tyres

The 15-inch alloy wheels with black centres and alloy 3 eared spinners look great with very little evidence of marks or damage. The wheels are shod with original BF Goodrich Radials 235/60R15 and 275/60R15 front and rear respectively. The tyres look to be in great shape with good tread remaining.

Bodywork

Take a look at the photos and videos to really appreciate how great this car looks. It appears straight, shut lines look good and panels are even. The doors, boot and bonnet all open and close with precision, exactly as they should.

Paint

Beautiful metallic blue paint appears largely flawless and suits the cars styling perfectly. There are occasional age-related marks but this is being really picky. Overall, it’s difficult to believe this fantastic car has been around for 26 years.

True to the Shelby concept, this cabin is comfortable and luxurious yet you still manage to feel like you’re in a serious racing car.

Seats and Carpets

Black leather bucket seats have no obvious rips or tears and appear generally great condition. The driver’s seat has some signs of use but this adds to the overall ambience of the interior.

Dashboard

Stunning! Ivory backed, dials against black leather trim fill the cabin with period charm. All appear in great condition with no glass broken or scratched. This really is a fantastic place to be.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

Adding to the overall beauty of the cabin the wooden steering wheel and gear lever are in excellent shape, matching the rest of the interior perfectly.

Mechanics

Edelbrock engineered Chevrolet 5.7L V8 delivering ~400BHP - a serious performer with the soundtrack to match.

Engine and Gearbox

Framed in a clean and beautifully organised engine bay with Edelbrock branding the small-block, Chevy 350 engine looks incredible.

As you can see from the Cold Start video the car starts easily and quickly settles down to that characteristic V8 burble. All dials appear to be reading as they should and emissions from the custom side pipes look clear.

Suspension and Brakes

With Jaguar underpinnings you can be assured of great handling, roadholding and stopping power. We are assured brakes and suspension function as they should being more than a match for the awesome power of this sports car.

The Drive

Check out the on the road video to share our experience of travelling in the car. It’s sure footed, planted and stable. We could hear no untoward knocks, bangs or rattles and the engine was smooth while the gears engaged easily and precisely.

Electrics and Other

Electrics on these cars are straightforward and we identified no obvious faults. All dials and switches looked to be in good condition and we are assured work exactly as they should.

Hi, it wouldn’t need an iva or sva test its older than 10 years and was built professionally and conforms to European standards. Only an mot and registration need doing
