Welcome to our 6th competition!.In our last one, Nikki took home the prize - a lovely Morris Minor. The time has come for a new one, which we're running again with NO MINIMUM target! Congratulations to the winner George Church.
So without further ado...this time we're giving you an "Italian Stallion".
This ~250 BHP Alfa Romeo could be yours for just £4.50! It's a UK RHD Alfa Romeo 156 GTA, that's only covered just shy of 50,000 miles, and, finished in red over black interior, features the legendary 3.2L V6 "Busso" engine. This car has even benefitted from ~£7,000 of recent spend.

Exterior
With wider wheels arches and unique body panels just for the GTA, you can tell this is no ordinary saloon.
Wheels and Tyres
The 17" GTA wheels have been recently refurbished in GTA gold with a beautiful satin finish. The wheels are wrapped in a matching set of Dunlop Sport tyres all round.
Bodywork
With unique body panels and styling, like the front splitter and side vents, the GTA is clearly the top of the line model. The bodywork presents in excellent condition with no obvious signs of corrosion, and no obvious parking dents either.
Paint
Finished in "Rosso Alfa" or "Alfa Red", this car has the styling you'd expect for the sports variant; the gold wheels are a nod to the racing heritage of the past.
The paint presents very well. It looks to be largely original, and the finish & colour are even across all panels. There are a few stone chips to the front, but nothing obvious.
Glass and Trim
The car has all the correct trim/badges for the top-of-the-line GTA variant.
The glass all looks good on this car too.
Some of the badges show their age a little, but nothing that detracts from the striking appearance of this sports saloon.
Interior
The low mileage of this car means the interior is in great condition: it certainly belies the age of the car.
Seats and Carpets
Finished in black leather with black carpets, the cabin is a smart and refined place to be. The deep bolstered seats look to be in great condition (as you'd expect for the mileage), and the same can be said for the carpets too.
Dashboard
The styling is, in the main, black plastics and some silver trim, offering a smart and unfussy design. The dials all look great on this car: some elements like the displays show what otherwise feels like a smart cabin has some older styling to it.
Being an Italian car from the "Noughties", it does feature some of the soft touch plastic that you find in Ferraris and Maseratis: some of this has that "sticky feel" now that some cars can suffer from.
Steering Wheel / Gear Stick
Wrapped with black leather, the steering wheel is in good condition with some marks to the infotainment controls. Being the Selespeed automated manual gearbox, the car features a "GTA" shifter, along with controls for the gears behind the steering wheel too.
Mechanics
With the "Big Busso" 3.2L V6 engine pushing out ~250BHP, and a top speed of ~155MPH, this sporty saloon really goes!
Engine and Gearbox
The engine sounds great on this GTA: the rasp from the exhaust when it revs makes you want to push the "loud pedal" again and again.
The automated manual gearbox is easy to use too: "CITY" mode is ideal for around town, and manual for when you want more control on the twisty roads.
Suspension and Brakes
The GTA comes with bigger Brembo brakes, the calipers painted red as pictured and adorned with the Alfa Romeo script.
The suspension on this car has been refreshed, and the GTA is a significant upgrade over normal models with stiffer and lower ride, along with a wider stance.
The Drive
With the sound of rev-happy "Busso" engine, and the upgraded suspension that comes with the GTA, this Alfa Romes does what Alfas do...it makes you want to drive it.
Electrics and Other
The car has the upgraded BOSE sound system, along with dual zone climate control. The steering wheel also features controls for the infotainment as pictured.
History and Paperwork
Low mileage, just 3 former keepers, classic Alfa red over black colourway, upgraded BOSE sound, ~£7,000 spent on servicing and recent maintenance - yours for just £4.50!
This car comes with the book pack, 2 sets of keys, and lots of invoices showing how it's been cared for over the years. It has just 3 former keepers and presents & drives beautifully.
