Hi there, has it had Alfaworks geometry? And the uprated lower arms on the front suspension? Does it have paint protection film? Thanks! Sean
Hi Sean, yes it has the Alfa Workshop geometry blocks fitted (mentioned in the description), no it has standard arms. It does not have PPF , sadly this was not standard on the early cars, however I have purchased but not fitted a front bumper PPF kit which will come with the car.
Is the car due for a cambelt change? The last I can see in the paperwork was January 20, so at 5 years max that would be due now, unless already done(?).
I can’t find a reference to it having been done more recently, so as a matter of course yes I would get it booked in at Alfa works for a belt, they also do a once-over and chassis bolt check at the same time.
To be fair though, the 60 month period (or 60000m) would be based on “average mileage” for the engine.
5 years is assumed by almost all OEM’s as being the safe life of the rubber, regardless of mileage. I believe the rubber would actually last slightly longer if the engine is run at least once once a month to maintain good flex.
