An unforgettable drive that never fails to turn heads – sharp, quick, and with an exhaust note in Sport mode that sends shivers down your spine.

The car has been in Stuart’s family for a couple of years, having first caught his eye during a visit to the NEC car show in December 2023. As he recalls, “I went to have a look around the car show with my son. We looked around the newer sports performance cars, which was one of the reasons for us going, and the Aston stand really stood out to us.”

A lifelong fan of fast cars, Stuart had previously owned a Porsche 911, and the NEC trip reignited his passion for performance motoring - he said, “What really took my view was getting back into a high-performance car. I started to look online and found the Aston - the Vantage really caught my eye and I knew it was the one for me.”

More recently, however, Stuart has added another car to the stable saying, “I’ve just bought a Mercedes A35 AMG 4Matic and really don’t need two high-performance cars. Reluctantly, I have to sell one, which is why this one is going.”

Exterior

Sleek, muscular, and unmistakably Aston - the V8 Vantage S combines timeless elegance with an aggressive edge, turning heads wherever it goes.

Wheels and Tyres

The forged 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, finished in silver with black accents, present well with only a few minor marks from use. The Aston Martin centre badges also display nicely.

At the front, the Vantage is fitted with Bridgestone Turanza tyres (245/40) with date codes from 2024, while the rear is equipped with Bridgestone Potenza tyres (285/35) date coded from 2019.

Bodywork

The car stands straight, panels look well aligned, shut lines appear tight and both doors, boot and bonnet open and close with precision, which is exactly what you'd expect from Aston Martin quality. Overall, the car presents really nicely.

The carbon insert side panels and touches of carbon on the front splitter were a lovely feature on the Vantage.

Paint

Finished in "Cobalt Blue" the paintwork on the Vantage has excellent coverage and quality across all the panels. We didn't note any major concerns as the exterior of the car looked in great shape. The car is complete with a ceramic coat, sealing the paint in well.

We did note that on the boot interior edge, there was a slight wear mark to the paint. Nothing overly concerning as this is out of sight of the main body of the car.

Glass and Trim

The windscreen, side windows and rear lights all appear in very good condition, and we could see no signs of scratching or chips on the glass.

Badges and emblems are present, correct and look very smart.

We didn't note any issues on the seals on the exterior and these areas showed to be in-line with the rest of the condition of the car.

To the interior: door cards showed really well and the headlining of the cabin looked excellent.

Interior

Crafted with luxury and precision, the Vantage interior blends hand-stitched leather, driver-focused design, and modern refinement - a cockpit built for both comfort and thrill.

Seats and Carpets

The seats are finished with black leather and blue inset stitching. The material looking great across all the seats and the 'Vantage S' embossed back rests were a real highlight. Both front seats and rear bench in the car look to be in excellent condition.

Looking over the carpet sections, the mats showed to be in lovely condition too and looking underneath these, the main floor sections showed without concern.

Checking over the boot, this section showed no issues and again reflected the quality of the rest of the cabin.

Dashboard

An “Obsidian Black” trim is proudly displayed across the centre console, a standout feature with a subtle silver fleck to the finish that really sets off the cabin.

The instruments are clean and clear, showing no signs of fogging or display issues, with the odometer reading ~24,345 miles at the time of our visit.

The leather finish across the dashboard presents very well, with no concerns observed around warping, splitting, or damage - a clear sign the cabin has been carefully maintained throughout its life.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

The Vantage is fitted with a black wrapped Aston Martin steering wheel with sport paddles giving the driver control over the automatic gearbox.

The steering wheel looked in great condition, as did the paddles with no real concerns noted. Gear selection is via the button at the top of the centre console. The wheel also houses the media function buttons and call options.

Mechanics

Powered by a hand-built 4.7L V8 producing ~430BHP, the Vantage S delivers a thrilling soundtrack and razor-sharp performance worthy of its iconic badge.

Engine and Gearbox

Starting up, we noted no concerns and the Aston performed without issue when running and out on the road. The car idled smoothly and its engine was easily capable of taking the driver up to speed in no time at all. The auto gearbox showed no concerns with shifting the Vantage through to the gears.

We took the car out around some local roads with the current owner to get a better feel for what this vehicle is all about. Take a look at the mechanical video to see the car starting up and more detail in the engine bay.

Suspension and Brakes

We noted no knocks, bangs or other issues from the sporty suspension when we were on the road, and it gave us no concerns in its performance or handling.

Looking over the underside of the car during our visit, noted no observed issues.

The large brakes felt to have no pull or vibrations that stood out to us when on the journey and brought the car to a stop without a problem and with the kind of stopping power you'd expect.

Overall the car performed as to be expected with no concerns.

The Drive

The Aston Martin delivers a driving experience that’s equal parts refined and exhilarating. With its naturally aspirated 4.7L V8, precise steering, and razor-sharp handling, it offers an engaging connection between driver and machine.

Stuart, the current owner, tells us more about his driving experience with the Vantage S, "It’s acceleration is amazing. You can point in through a turn or at a straight and it just goes and handles so well. It's an awesome machine and I'm glad to have had the chance to drive it".

Electrics and Other

The Vantage comes equipped with a flip up display, electric heated seats, air conditioning, paddle shift gearbox controls and bluetooth control.

Stuart told us that he's had no issues with the electrical elements of the car, and confirms everything is working as it should. All switches, dials, and gauges appear undamaged and are in great condition.

With low mileage, regular servicing and the last attendance completed under ~1,000 miles ago, the Aston is beautifully presented and well set for its next adventures.
