Introduction
Jacob Boodrie
A thrilling modern classic, combining Audi’s legendary V8 performance with quattro all-wheel drive, understated styling, and everyday usability.
The Audi RS4 B7 arrived in 2006 as the successor to the highly regarded B5 RS4, bringing naturally aspirated V8 power and quattro all-wheel drive together in a compact executive saloon. Developed by Audi’s performance division, the RS4 combined everyday practicality with genuine sports car performance, creating a formula that remains hugely appealing to enthusiasts today.
At the heart of the RS4 is Audi’s 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, producing ~420PS and revving to an impressive ~8,250rpm. Paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and quattro all-wheel drive, it delivers a distinctive combination of high-revving performance, traction and usability. The B7 generation is particularly celebrated for its naturally aspirated V8 character and is increasingly regarded as a modern classic.
The saloon body gives the RS4 a discreet appearance while retaining four-door practicality, making it equally suited to enthusiastic weekend driving and longer-distance touring. With its wide stance, subtle RS styling, and muscular proportions, the B7 RS4 remains one of the most desirable performance saloons of its era.
This example is finished in black with a black leather interior, and has recently benefited from a significant amount of maintenance and improvement under Simon’s ~3-month ownership, including all eight injectors, a replacement clutch, a full service, refurbished alloy wheels, freshly painted black brake callipers and a custom stainless steel exhaust system.
This listing was written from information supplied by Jacob after meeting Simon the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

There was quite a few items noted on the paperwork when the clutch was done, have these been addressed? Especially the suspension lines and os front shock .
There is mention of flaking paint, to what extent is this also the damage on the drivers door trim? Finally do you have the original head unit to put back to stock?
Good morning and thanks for your post. I have not had any further work carried out on the car other than that stated. I was not advised that it currently needs changing by the garage that carried out the service/clutch replacement. That said – I had always intended to swap out the existing suspension on the car if I were to keep it, based on the know issues with the OEM system I have purchased – Bilstein B16 Height- and Damping-Adjustable Coilover Kit (48-105958) – new. Which is available to the successful purchaser at £1200 – a saving off cost to allow for fitting fees. I am not aware of flaking paint but I will take a further look over the car this morning and report back.
Hey – so – I have looked at the drivers door and paint flaking is limited to the very bottom corner of the door probably 10mm x 15mm – I don’t think I can upload a pic but it took me a while to fine. I do not have the original head unit.
Thanks Simon.
