Great question, the engine out reference relates to work done on replacing the timing chain and oil pump chain. The garage has to remove the engine to complete this work
Car gas the original engine.
Car was serviced fully once all the engine works were completed may last year.
The garage i used did similar works to my e90 alpina d3 BiTurbo prior year (i still have this car, its my daily)
Hi I see from one of the invoices that it had the engine out in 2025. Can you confirm what this was for (apologies if that’s explained elsewhere and I’ve missed it!) and is it still running the original engine, i.e. is this a matching numbers car? Could you also tell me, again from my view of the paperwork, was the last service in 2022?

Great question, the engine out reference relates to work done on replacing the timing chain and oil pump chain. (A common problem with this engine, if not done could result in engine replacement if the timing chain snapped)
