Introduction
Dom Ginn
A well-presented and honest example of the iconic Datsun 260Z 2+2.
This 1977 car offers a usable entry point into classic Japanese motoring with strong mechanical foundations and clear scope for improvement.
Finished in a striking yellow and paired with a largely original interior, this Z retains the character and driving feel that has made these cars so desirable. While not without its faults, it represents an engaging project or weekend driver for an enthusiast looking to get behind the wheel of a classic Z at a fraction of the cost.
Coming from ~4 years with our vendor, it is MOT and road tax exempt and comes with some old photos of a past restoration.
This listing was written from information supplied by Dom after meeting John the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

*** RESERVE LOWERED ***
John has decided to lower the reserve, the highest bidder is more likely to win the 260Z tonight, good luck!
Thanks,
Colin.
*** Auction Update ***
John has found some paperwork for the car, including the original service book and MOT certificates dating back to 1985, you can view them in the paperwork gallery.
Thanks,
Colin.
What is the issue mentioned about the wipers? Are they inoperative?
I notice that the manual window winders are missing? If not converted to electric how you open the windows?
Cheers
Hi there,
The wipers did work, albeit slow however when I last tried them they didn’t operate so I’m going to presume it is motor related.
I do have both window winders, they just need reattaching with the retaining clip
Best of luck!
