A proper American classic, this restored example has been tweaked with exterior styling inspired by "Gone in 60 Seconds", it's all the better for it we think.
Brandon purchased this Mustang fully refurbished last July. The car has undergone thousands of pounds worth of refurbishment over the previous few years. It was stripped down to bare metal and resprayed in the iconic Pepper Grey with black stripes in homage to Eleanor from 'Gone in Sixty Seconds', along with it's Flow master dual exhaust, Torq thrust alloys, and 69 Boss hood intake. It was an AC and power steering optioned 289 V8 C-Code example (the power steering appears to have been removed by a previous owner) with an aluminium intake (this may not be the case now, as there is some surface corrosion present on the current item) and Edelbrock 1404 carburettor fitted. As mentioned above, the AC doesn't work at present.
Take a look below for the full list of new and refurbished parts fitted during the restoration.

Reserve gauge is a good idea but how
can 19k be less than a quarter ?
Hi Brandon. Looks nice. May have missed it but chassis, engine matching numbers? Appreciate it’s a 60s car And mot exempt but not put through MOT for additional reassurance? Thanks.
Hi mate, I have the chassis number but looking for the engine number due to the age I think it may have worn away as I can’t find it, if in any way it helps I’ve had it with a mechanic to over all it and theirs signs of a engine rebuild previously and I have had it correctly all set up to run smoothly, thanks
Hiya Brandon. Lovely looking car. Not the sort of guy who worries too much about details its a classic. My only question is in your opinion does it start ok, run ok from the get go so I can use as I carry on your good work.
Thanks and have a good weekend
Steve
Hi mate, the car starts every time with no issues, multiple times it’s been left for a couple of months and after a few seconds of turning the key the engine starts even in the winter it’s never not started
Also while I have owned the car I have not had any major issues where the car has been unable to drive, recently had the rockers set as a nut came off other than that I have had no set backs, enjoy your weekend also, thank you brandon
Hi Steve, it’s worth watching the video too, to see and hear the car in action; https://youtu.be/SdtalCuDBH0 Best, Kulraj – Trade Classics
