Introduction
Darren Rungasamy
Evoking the spirit of its legendary heritage, the XKR exudes an air of understated sophistication.
The Jaguar XKR represents a definitive chapter in the evolution of the modern British grand tourer. As the high-performance evolution of the X100 XK8 platform, the XKR was engineered to bridge the gap between long-distance luxury and aggressive, pulse-quickening performance.
At the heart of the XKR lies a potent 4.0-litre AJ-V8 engine. By force-feeding this unit with an Eaton supercharger, Jaguar elevated the output to 370 horsepower, delivering a torrential surge of torque that remains impressive even by modern standards. Inside, the cabin is a masterclass in classic British luxury, featuring a generous application of burl walnut veneer, supple Connolly leather, and a dashboard layout that masterfully balances ergonomic function with aesthetic charm.
Presented in a sophisticated Pacific Blue finish over an Ivory leather interior, this 2001 Jaguar XKR has covered just ~44,005 miles under the care of only three owners. The vehicle is complete with its full owner’s wallet, including a service book stamped 14 times, and two sets of keys.
This listing was written from information supplied by Darren after meeting Andy the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Ask Owner
Why had the car not been serviced since 2019?
Also the answer as to why no mot for so long, suggest you did not use it since then
Hi, the car was in storage and SORN between 2020 and 2024.
Hello, the car was in storage and SORN between 2020 and 2024. When it came out of storage, Upwood Auto Repair Centre checked it over and recommended what needed to be done, so I spent £2,291 on it on: 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, 2 new fuel pumps, a new battery and an MOT (5/12/24).
Hello Andy, Is there a reason for the gap in the cars MOT from 2019 to 2024? Also, is it possible to view the car (not sure how to arrange this, or if it is possible for listings on this site). Thanks Ken
Hi Ken,
We can help arrange a viewing for you, if you could send an email to [email protected] first, we just need to do some checks.
Thanks,
Colin.
Hi. How is the Air Conditioning functioning and when was it last serviced and topped up?
Thanks
Hello the air con system was re-gassed on 2/2/26 and it works well
