Launched in 2013 as the spiritual successor to the legendary E-Type, the F-Type utilised a refined XK-derived chassis and proven power plants to balance rigid composure with grand-touring comfort. However, the installation of the supercharged, 488-bhp aluminium alloy AJ-V8 sets this model apart; it delivers brutal power paired with a rear-wheel-drive chassis more than capable of harnessing it.

The F-Type convertible was designed as a pure roadster from day one. This ensures rock-solid structural rigidity and precision handling, all while preserving its stunning silhouette. The V8 S F-Type is a swan song for the convertible sports car. There is no better place to witness its wild acoustic performance.

Fully furnished with an impressive specification that includes the Black Pack trim and switchable sports exhaust, this 2013 car comes to market from almost a year with our vendor, it is finished in stunning 'Firesand Orange', with a 'Jet' premium full leather interior including sports seats with firesand stitching. It has just ~30,708 miles and has been well-cared for by its two previous keepers. It has six instances of servicing, a full book pack, two keys with their presentation box and has an MOT until April 2026.

Driven by a passion for high-performance machinery, Richard couldn't resist the F-Type’s combination of V8 power and iconic design. Having decided that only the best available example would do, he purchased this outstanding vehicle from an F-Type specialist to be his ultimate daily driver.

Now that Richard has decided to retire, he is streamlining his collection, making this wonderful machine available for another fortunate owner.

Exceptionally well presented, the vibrant orange finish highlights its immaculate condition

Wheels and Tyres

As a Black Pack car, this example was originally supplied on black wheels. To make it looks more elegant, Richard had these changed to Jaguar Gyrodyne wheels (an original equipment option), freshly refinished in gorgeous Dark Shadow Chrome. The finish is superb and the wheels remain in excellent condition with no significant marks.

The front and rear of the car are fitted with Pirelli P-Zero tyres, with the front showing a spec of 225/35 and 295/30 to the rear - the rears are date coded from 2024, and the fronts are from 2022. They’re in good visual shape with plenty of legal tread.

Please take time to review the photos and videos for a detailed view of the exterior, wheels, and tyres so you can make your own assessment of their condition. Tyres are a key safety item, and you should consider replacing any that are cracked, perished, unevenly worn, or over 10 years old.

Bodywork

The exterior of the car is in excellent order, with no notable issues. The panels are flush to the body with even shut lines. All doors open and close with ease, with fully functional door glass drops.

The underside is so clean that the chassis specialist recommended protecting it with a clear underseal, which was applied before the winter.

There is mild aluminium under-paint corrosion noted in the engine bay, but it appears to be a superficial reaction.

Paint

The distinctive 'Firesand Orange' paintwork was ceramic coated in 2025 by highly-regarded specialist Monza Detailing, the hood and wheels were also coated. The paint retains an excellent lustre and a deep gloss. The coverage is consistent and even throughout.

There are a handful of minor roadwear chips on the nose of the car, but none that look like they've penetrated beyond the top coat.

Glass and Trim

The glass and seals are in great condition, with no issues noted on the lights and lenses.

The black pack trim is in good condition, and the bumpers are well-mounted to the body.

Interior

Lavish with exquisite materials and detailing, the cabin has also been well cared for.

Seats and Carpets

The optional electric heated leather Performance seats with orange stitching are in excellent condition.

The carpets (with premium overmats) are clean with no signs of dampness.

Dashboard

The dashboard presents positively, showing only a few signs of age on some of the softer plastics.

The condition of the controls, switches and dials is clean, and all are said to function perfectly, there are a few minor scratches on the driver’s door switchpack.

Amongst the wide range of options are the Ignis switch pack, front parking sensors, rear parking camera with rear guidance, a heated front screen, and a 770W Meridian Surround Sound System with 14 Speakers

The door cards, headlining and interior trim are smartly presented.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

The multi-function steering wheel with bronze paddle shift controls is clean with no issues noted on these or on the leather-wrapped gear selector.

Mechanics

The Supercharged V8 engine's pulsating roar through the quad-exhaust system is intoxicating.

Engine and Gearbox

The engine fires up without hesitation and idles smoothly. There were no signs of splutters from the exhaust, all dashboard warning lights remained in check, with no unwanted noises heard from the engine.

The engine is cleanly presented, and the automatic gearbox operates with no reports of faults in all driving modes.

Suspension and Brakes

As someone who expects the very best from his cars, Richard has taken this F-Type to one of the most highly regarded Jaguar dynamics specialists, Spires Technologies, for a precision chassis set-up by a dynamics consultant to the Jaguar factory. The result is a sportscar that handles superbly.

The ride is smooth and even, free of mechanical noises. The suspension absorbed the road with no thuds or negative feedback.

The car brakes without any issues, demonstrating no pulling from the steering wheel, and is free of any unwanted judders or vibrations. The discs and calipers are in excellent condition.

The Drive

Jaguar has long excelled in comfortable long-distance cruisers, with the V8 supercharged version of the F-Type adding a genuine visceral experience to the mix.

The delight of the V8 burble and crackle, seamless acceleration and phenomenal grip is there within an instant, yet settles down when needed on more sedate journeys.

The F-Type pulls exceptionally well, with no engine hesitation and a smooth linear power delivery. Richard treated us to a spirited drive along the country lanes; the uneven roads did not unsettle the car's ride, and the dampers absorbed the surface without any thuds or vibrations.

The handling and balance are sharp, tucking into the corners with reassuring composure.

Electrics and Other

Amongst the many options fitted to this car are Tyre Pressure Monitoring, a Switchable Active Sports Exhaust and a Wind Deflector.

We didn't test all electrics during our visit however Richard told us everything is in working order, to his knowledge.

The soft top retracts without any strain to the motors; it has been ceramic-coated and is free from significant marks.

History and Paperwork

Accompanied by its original book pack and key box, this vehicle boasts a service history with six stamps over its 30,000 miles.

First registered in June 2013 in Switzerland, the Jaguar is a RHD UK market car. It comes with six instances of servicing; the most recent one was completed in April 2025 by Jaguar main dealer Marshalls. Since buying the car from F-Type specialist Sports and Touring, Richard has undersealed the car, ceramic-coated the body and hood and has had the chassis tuned at Spires.

It comes with two keys in their original presentation box, book pack and has an MOT to April 2026.
