Introduction

Ashley Dawson
Professional Consigner

Few cars carry motorsport pedigree quite like the Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione II.

Born from rally dominance and refined for the road, the Evo II represents the final and most developed iteration of the legendary Integrale line. Wider arches, improved engine management, enhanced interior trim, and unmistakable stance make it one of the most desirable homologation specials of the 1990s.

With its turbocharged 2.0-litre 16-valve engine and permanent four-wheel-drive system, the Evoluzione II blends raw rally character with genuine road usability; a combination that has firmly secured its place among modern performance legends.

Coming from nearly 8 years with our vendor, this 1994 example presents beautifully and retains the drama, theatre, and pedigree that make the Evo II such a landmark performance car. It comes with a current MOT, valid until 23.06.2026.

This listing was written from information supplied by Ashley after meeting Kelly the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Meet the owner

I’ve always admired the Integrale. It’s a car with real presence and history behind it. Owning an Evo II has been incredibly special, and it never fails to make every drive feel like an occasion.

Kelly bought her first Lancia in her twenties: a black Evoluzione I, which she absolutely loved. Ever since then, she wanted a Evoluzione II.

Years passed, along with a string of other cars, but Kelly always promised herself that if the opportunity came to own another Integrale, she would take it. That chance arrived in 2018 when downsizing and moving to the countryside. The perfect setting for a car like this.

The sale comes as part of a divorce settlement, making this a genuinely reluctant parting with a car that clearly means a great deal.

Kelly will be happy to answer any questions in the comments section below.

Exterior

Visually, the Evoluzione II remains as dramatic today as it was in 1994. The flared arches, aggressive stance, and purposeful detailing set it apart from almost anything else of its era.

Wheels and Tyres

The car sits on its signature multi-spoke alloy wheels, one of the defining features of the Evoluzione II. They present very well overall, with no obvious major damage visible in the images and a clean, correct factory appearance. The wheel badges aren't in the best condition, so Kelly has included new ones in the sale.

Tyres appear in good condition and complement the car’s wide, planted stance, Kelly told us they are quite old so would definitely benefit from being replaced by the new owner.

Kelly has fitted 10mm wheel spacers to subtly improve the stance, allowing the original wheels and tyres to fill out the arches more effectively. The result enhances the Evo II’s already muscular presence without compromising its authentic character.

Please take time to review the photos and videos for a detailed view of the exterior, wheels, and tyres so you can make your own assessment of their condition. Tyres are a key safety item, and you should consider replacing any that are cracked, perished, unevenly worn, or over 10 years old.

image

Bodywork

The bodywork presents impressively. Panels appear straight and well aligned, and the arches, so critical on an Integrale, look strong and correctly shaped.

The boxy silhouette, deep front bumper, and extended rear spoiler all retain the aggressive character that made the Evoluzione II so visually dominant.

We've highlighted in more detail our observations through our high-resolution images and videos, so please take time to look through all the media files for a detailed view of what’s on offer, and for you to assess the condition of the car for yourselves.

image

Paint

This example presents in 'Rosso Monza', the colour most closely associated with the Integrale, and it suits the car perfectly. The paintwork shows strong gloss and depth, with the red finish presenting beautifully in natural light. It reflects evenly across panels and enhances the car’s sharp lines.

There are some small stone chips on the front of the vehicle. Also we noticed at the time of visit a few tiny spots where the lacquer has peeled. One spot located on the boot and some on the rear driver's side door.

The images are taken from a few different angles to show off the car as you would see it if you were standing there for yourselves. So please take the time to fully assess these high-resolution images and videos of the car, for you to make up your own minds about the condition of the paint.

image

Glass and Trim

Glass appears clear and intact throughout. Exterior trim, badging and lighting elements all look correct and in keeping with factory specification.

The rear spoiler, grille detailing and “Integrale” badging complete the unmistakable Evo II look.

The "Integrale" badge on the rear could do with replacing. Kelly has included a replacement in the sale.

image

Interior

Step inside and the Integrale immediately feels purposeful thanks to its period-correct upright dashboard, clear analogue dials, and driver-focused layout.

Seats and Carpets

This example features a striking modern tan leather interior, which contrasts beautifully with the red exterior, a standout feature of this Evoluzione II it has been beautifully re-trimmed, completed in 2018 under Kelly’s ownership.

The cabin has been professionally retrimmed in Prima Nappa leather (1387 Modena), inspired by Ferrari’s classic Biscuit tone. The result is a rich, warm finish that elevates the interior while remaining tasteful and sympathetic to the car’s character.

The leather presents exceptionally well, with clean stitching, supportive bolsters and a high-quality finish throughout. It transforms the cabin into something truly special, blending Italian performance heritage with a more bespoke, luxurious feel.

The carpets appear clean and well kept, complementing the retrim and reinforcing the impression of careful, considered ownership.

image

Dashboard

The dashboard layout remains classic Integrale: functional, simple, and rally-inspired. Gauges are clear and legible, and switchgear appears intact.

The centre console and controls present well and remain true to the car’s original character. A modern head unit has been fitted.

At the time of visit, Kelly assured us everything is in full working order, however she is unsure about the heater as she has never used it, but the AC blows cold.

image

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

The steering wheel presents in good condition and suits the era perfectly. It shows light age-related wear consistent with use. but remains tidy.

The manual gear lever, finished with a white gear knob, reinforces the car’s analogue feel and motorsport roots.

image

Mechanics

At the heart of the Evoluzione II is its turbocharged 2.0-litre 16-valve engine. A unit synonymous with rally success.

Engine and Gearbox

The 2.0-litre turbocharged 16-valve engine remains the heart of the Evoluzione II, and this example benefits from meaningful mechanical attention under Kelly’s ownership.

Recent works include a new clutch master cylinder, new slave cylinder, a new clutch assembly, and a cambelt replacement; all completed using genuine/OEM parts. In addition, the air-conditioning compressor has been professionally reconditioned, again using correct components.

The engine presents well in the bay, with the iconic red cam cover and “Lancia Turbo 16 Valve” script proudly on display. It starts, runs and delivers power exactly as an Integrale should, with strong boost and smooth delivery.

The gearbox operates cleanly, engaging gears positively and contributing to the car’s engaging, analogue driving experience.

image

Suspension and Brakes

The suspension has also received attention, with a number of components, including various bushes replaced using genuine/OEM parts. This careful approach ensures the car retains its intended factory feel and composure.

On the road, the car feels planted and confidence-inspiring, with no untoward noises reported. Braking performance is strong and progressive, complementing the car’s legendary grip and chassis balance.

image

The Drive

Kelly describes the car as everything an Integrale should be: responsive, full of character, and unmistakably engaging.

Boost builds smoothly, grip is immense, and the experience remains thrilling even by modern standards.

image

Electrics and Other

While we didn't test all the electrics during our visit, Kelly told us all systems are in working order, as far as she is aware, but she has never used the heater, the AC blows cold though.

image

History and Paperwork

This Evoluzione II benefits from well-documented ownership history and supporting paperwork that reflects Kelly’s careful stewardship.

The car was originally imported from Japan via Motorhub, with documentation present to support this. Kelly purchased the vehicle directly from Motorhub in 2018 and has retained invoices for the work carried out during her ownership.

The history file includes records for the mechanical work completed including clutch, cambelt, and suspension items - along with a good number of MOT certificates. Some Japanese paperwork also accompanies the car, adding to its documented provenance.

Additionally, a selection of parts (as pictured) are included within the sale, further enhancing the package for the next owner.

We’ve done all our usual seller checks including photo ID, V5 and also actioned a history check on the vehicle - this is a professional check operated by HPI that will highlight if the car has been previously stolen, recorded as being in an accident, or have any outstanding finance - note, this does not include a mileage history check.

We've summarised our own view on the car based on information gained from the seller in the listing above, however, as you can see, we go to great lengths to photograph and video the car in hi-resolution detail - this has been done for you to make your own assessment from the comfort of your sofa. So please sit back, have a cuppa and take your time to review everything on this listing in order to make your own assessment of the vehicle's condition. Viewings are also welcomed with all our listings, so please get in touch with us to arrange a suitable time - we just need to speak to you first and receive a valid photo ID before confirming.

If there's anything you're unsure about, no matter how small, then please first ask the owner in the comments area below before placing your bids, as bids can't be retracted and form a binding contract if you win the car - just like a traditional auction house.
