Introduction

Alan Stuart
Professional Consigner

4.7L of aggressive, rumbling Ferrari V8 engine, beautifully dressed by the design team at Pininfarina.

The 2014 Maserati GranTurismo Sport comes standard with a naturally aspirated 4.7L V8 engine that delivers you from 0-60MPH in 4.9 seconds. Putting the power to the rear wheels is a six-speed automatic transmission with adaptive suspension keeping you balanced on the road and remains agile and comfortable over long journeys. We love the design elements of this car with the team at Pininfarina responsible for its sleek and sexy elegant looks. Sitting in the cabin you're surrounded by luxurious leather with a cream and grey corresponding colour theme; embroidered Maserati logo's in the seats, plush carpet and detailed stitching really showcasing the interior nicely.

This is a truly excellent example of a really well cared for grand touring coupe. With just ~26,900 on the clock, it comes to market from a serial car enthusiast from a years ownership and just 3 former keepers. An annual service actioned at the end of May along with an MOT, this stunning sports GT in a smart colour of "Grigio Granito" is ready for the summer.

This auction listing was written from information supplied by Alan after meeting Riad the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Meet the owner

The stunning design, coupled with the Ferrari/Maserati V8 power and soundtrack made this coupe very attractive.

Riad is definitely a petrolhead, lucky enough to have owned a range of cars over the years. When asked how best to describe the car he tells us "I just love the way it drives, sounds and feels... besides, I became my son's best friend since I have owned it!". He's had the car put through a service with

He lets us know that he's planning an upgrade over the next few months and although he loves the car, selling the GranTurismo Sport will allow him to pursue his next exotic. Riad will be happy to answer any questions on the car in the comments section below.

Exterior

This high-performance, high-style luxury grand touring coupe gives a real sense of power through its seductive rear end curves.

Wheels and Tyres

Fitted with 20” seven-spoke GT alloys from the factory , looking over the wheels on our visit we noticed very few issues with them, if we were being really picky we noticed a few marks from minor curbing but this appeared to be minimal during our time viewing the vehicle.

Wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero's, the tyres themselves appear to have a good amount of tread on them also. Watch the video and view the images for the detail.

Bodywork

The GranTurismo Sport offers refined sleek and sexy Italian styling, we really like the body shape of this car. All panel gaps look tight and correct on this example, just as you would expect for a modern high-performance sports car.

On our visit we looked very hard to see any imperfections and in the panels we didn't observe any, it has clearly been looked after and cared for which is reflected in the condition of the bodywork. The only are is the passenger side door shut, where it looks like the seatbelt has likely marked the paint. We have taken hi-resolution images and videos of the car for you to assess the condition of the bodywork for yourselves.

Paint

Finished in the Maserati colour of "Grigio Granito", it's a smart choice and looks stunning. Throughout the exterior the car looks to be in excellent overall condition and we noticed no obvious issues with the paintwork, we couldn't actually even spot a stone chip. The paint itself looked even in finish and colour all over the body panels, and importantly colour too as pictured.

Again, please take time to review all the images and videos showing the paint from different angles and reflections, to assess the condition for yourselves.

Glass and Trim

As reflected with the rest of the car, the glass and trim looks to be in really great condition. On our visit we noticed a slight mark across the top of the windscreen but this appeared to be very minimal. All the rubber seals look excellent along with the glass overall.

Please take the time to review the images and video of the GranTurismo exterior in our hi-resolution gallery.

Interior

Exquisitely matched grey and cream interior with seats that wrap you up in a real sense of luxury.

Seats and Carpets

The interior of this car is truly beautiful with a stunning cream and grey colour combo. The carpets look in excellent condition with the original plastic carpet protectors still in situ under the over mats.

We really loved the look and feel of the interior of this Maserati and its really apparent this vehicle has been really cared for. Detailed stitching, embroided headrests and premium leathers really set the GranTurismo in a league of its own. We did note slight marking on the offside rear seat door card, the only real blemish which takes some careful inspection to spot.

We have highlighted in more detail our observations above through our hi-resolution image gallery, please take a look through the images for a detailed look for yourselves.

Dashboard

Sweeping lines, crafted leathers and GranTurismo Sport detailing adorn the dashboard, the Italian design elements are really apparent here.

The interior manages to nicely balance style with a sophisticated sporty edge. We've added our hi-resolution video of the Maserati interior on the listing, please take the time to review the video where we look closer at some of the design and detail elements.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

A luxurious and functional wheel and paddle shifters put your hands in control of the Maserati. The steering wheel and centre selector were in great overall condition and reflected the Italian craftsmanship of the interior.

To the best of the owners knowledge, all electrical elements in the car are working as expected with no observed issues during our visit.

Mechanics

The 0-60 time and V8 roar on this sporty GranTurismo is something to be truly respected and admired.

Engine and Gearbox

A Ferrari-Maserati V8 powerhouse is the menacing grunt behind the beauty of the exterior, boasting 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds the 4.7L will undoubtably impress petrol-heads and a more casual customer alike. The engine was ready to drive and running as it should from cold.

Take a look at our review video to hear the owner start up the Maserati and roll the car out of garage storage, the rumble and noise from the V8 is really something! The car had a recent annual service in May, and a fresh MOT at the same time too.

Suspension and Brakes

The large Maserati brakes look really clean, there is some slight evidence of lifting on the lacquer on the offside front brake but overall present in a really great condition. The owner Riad, lets us know that the car stops just as it should.

Riad also reports the car offers a firm and sporty ride that is comfortable enough for long tours and weekend breaks.

The Drive

There's not many cars that can turn heads as quickly as this Maserati; clean lines, beautiful design, V8 roar and simply stunning interiors. We love the looks and power this GranTurismo Sport offers - check out our hi-resolution videos and images for a full rounded look at what's on offer here.

Electrics and Other

To the best of Riad's knowledge, all electrical elements in the car are working as expected with no observed issues during our visit. The car benefits from the installation of a "Blackvue" camera and comes with a Maserati indoor cover. Riad would be happy to answer any additional questions about the car and its electrics should these be needed.

History and Paperwork

Packed full of stylish features, this excellent example of a Maserati GranTurismo Sport is a real work of art, coming to market in excellent condition and just ~26,900 miles covered.

Please take a look through the gallery images to view the vehicle receipts, paperwork, MOT testing and original owners manuals. The car has just 3 former keepers, and the current owner for the past year. With a fresh service and MOT, and presented in excellent condition in a beautiful grey over cream colourway, if you're in the market for one of these luxury sporting GT's, take a good look again at this one and get involved in the bidding.

Please note the private registration will not be included in the sale, the car has been returned to the age related number of LK14AVZ.

We’ve done all our usual seller checks including photo ID, V5 and also actioned a HPi check on the vehicle.

We've summarised our own view on the car based on information gained from the seller in the listing above, however, and as you can see, we go to great lengths to photograph and video the car in hi-resolution detail - this has been done for you to make your own assessment from the comfort of your sofa. Viewings are also welcomed with all our listings, so please get in touch with us to arrange a suitable time - we just need to speak to you first and receive a valid photo ID before confirming.

Thank you for your previous responses. One last thing, can you throw any light on why the car has a service gap from 2015 to 2021, some 17,000 miles? Early history also has a year’s gap albeit with minimal mileage.
