The third generation of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W211) was introduced for sale in 2002 in a production run that ran until 2009. There was a mid-generation refresh where drivetrain options, external and interior design were changed with 29 options available. At the top of the range were the AMG built 5.5L and 6.3L V8's, but the standard range also had some powerful options in both saloon and estate forms like the 3.5L V6.
This example is a facelift E350 W211 featuring the 3.5L V6 and 7G-Tronic automatic transmission. It's a car that's not to be sniffed at, able to push the estate body to 62MPH in ~6.0 seconds. Imported in to the UK from Japan in August 2020, it's a low mileage example that has clearly been cared for, and comes with AMG specification from factory. With a keen reserve, this car presents a great entry point if you're looking for a fast estate.

Hi, there looks to be a hole in the plastic sill cover on the offside rear (photo 131)? Any other damage in this area?

Hello. Yes, I have just checked the plastic sill cover, & there is a hole in it. Not known to me before as it cannot be seen when standing by the car as it is underneath along the lower curved edge. Even so, a hole – a stone I would think? There is no other damage & the day after the photo shoot it passed it’s MOT with NO Advisories & no comments to me about it. If the car makes the reserve I will have it professionally repaired or deduct £250 from the winning bid. I hope that helps.… Read more »
Further to What Graham has mentioned. The ground at the shoot location wasn’t very level, and unfortunately to avoid the shadows as much as possible the vehicle was located with the front LH wheel on an incline. As a result this made the Rear Right sit lower to keep the vehicle body level.
When moved for the ‘beauty photographs’ the suspension leveled out, and I can confirm that as Graham drove away at the end of the shoot the vehicle was sitting level.

Wheel clearance within wheelarch is definitely different between pictures 131 (driver side rear) and 132 (near side rear).
Is there something heavy in the back?
Hello Reg. Thank you for your query. Yes it does look that it might ‘droop’ – I can only think it’s due to the position of the photo/ground level. The car passed its MOT a few days ago with No Advisories & the suspension is all 100%….& level. I hope that helps. Please come back to me if I can assist further. Regards. Graham
