I purchased the car as a restoration project, with a clear vision of building an MGB to my own taste and standards.

Over the course of his ownership, the car was carefully restored and upgraded throughout, resulting in the beautifully presented example you see today.

Now offered for sale simply due to lack of use, it’s ready to be enjoyed as intended by its next owner.

The car has been upgraded with electronic ignition, an alternator conversion, and a 12v battery setup. It also benefits from an unleaded engine conversion, making it more practical for modern use.

A big bore stainless steel exhaust and K&N chrome air filters enhance both performance and sound.

No unwanted noises were heard at time of visit and can be heard in the On the Road video.

Suspension and Brakes

Upgrades include front disc brakes, improved shock absorbers, and a single rear spring conversion, improving handling and drivability while maintaining classic characteristics.

The Drive

Electrics and Other

The car has been converted to negative earth and fitted with LED front and rear lights, along with a Kenlowe fan for improved cooling.

Roy assured us at the time of visit all electrics are in working order.

It appears the car has only done 20 miles in the last 5-6 years. Is that correct. Will it need recommissioning before it is driven away. Thanks

The car has been regularly started and maintained throughout that time and garaged. It has been on a few short runs to upkeep it and is in perfect mechanical condition and could be driven away without issue. The reason for sale is lack of use now. It could probably do with fine tuning as it was never tuned to the exhaust that’s fitted but runs as per the videos and would be more than confident it can go straight on the road with no issues. thanks
