Introduction
Every time you turn the key and hear that V8 roar it just makes your day - my wives favourite classic car of mine and she does not even like cars.
Starts first time straight forward easy to maintain - the V8 engine is bullet proof spares are cheap!
I have owned this car for ~8 years and it was my second classic car - I’m selling it because I’m buying a house and need to raise some additional cash.
The car has been dry stored for the last 8 years and serviced every year.
I like my cars to be in tip top condition and therefore spend money on them to get them up to a high standard - the car has been repainted in its original colour of BRG and has the V8 wheels from the MGBC.
The car is an original MGB 1969 (as shown on the V5) chrome bumper car. In recent years the car has had a new hood, tyres, re-chromed bumpers, refurbished seats electronic ignition, stainless steel exhaust, new brakes and brake lines, starter motor, batteries, radio, door-cards, coil, interior front carpets.

Hi Martin,
Was this originally a V8, or a later conversion?
What gearbox/how many speed is in the car?
Thanks, Nige
Hi Nige, the famous Ken Costello built a number of specialist MGB V8 Roadster, I believe before the MGC came out. Other people took a chrome bumper original car and adapted it by putting in the Buick/Rover engine. Mine is one of those. Registered August 1969. I don’t know when my car was adapted but the previous owner bought the car with the V8 in September 2005. It has the Rover five speed gearbox fitted.
