Special edition Minis have come and gone in many ways over the years – but there’s something quite special about the 30th Anniversary edition.
In 1989, Mini celebrated its 30th birthday with the Mini 30, with a limited run of 3,000 cars. To set it apart from the standard Mini, it was adorned with 30th-anniversary badges, half-leather seats unique to the Mini 30, and some extra equipment. Some of these special features included an option of 'Pearlescent Cherry Red' or black paintwork, Mini 30 badges, servo-assisted front brakes, body-coloured arches, sills, wings, a boot light, and sports-style alloy wheels.
This lovely low-mileage example comes to the market from six years of ownership with our vendor, Rosie. The car was restored and repainted by a previous keeper between 2015-2017 and used very little since then, covering around ~8,000 miles - it comes with two sets of keys, and current MOT valid until 01.10.2026.
Rosie previously had a small lightweight fibreglass trailer fitted. This, along with the towbar, isn’t included in the sale, however, if it’s of interest, it may be available to purchase separately. More pictures of this can be supplied upon request.

Lovely looking car. Will do well in the auction, possibly with me involved. Just wanted to ask (a) is the car garaged; and (b) I know there’s a mound of paperwork, but is there a service history book as well?
Hi, yes garaged always and started and run e very 2 months. sorry no service history book due to age and not supplied from last owner, who fully restored car, body elecs and engine that has never let me down and has had good engine rolling road test results graph in file by AC Dodds. Plus with brand new battery and MOT.

She is a genuine solid reliable car. Previous owner is Colin Hatton who with his son fully restored her, He is renowned for attention to detail and recognised by BMC management…….and won best in show prizes inc. his latest kit mini car same colour as this lovely mini. Mileage low and matches paperwork MOT investigations 2019..i have not done many miles, because i only showed at local northern shows…i am really sad to sell her but my family need my support due to losing my brother recently. New battery and MOT.
