Meet the owner

I’ve genuinely loved owning this Cayenne Turbo - it has been a fantastic car to live with - powerful, comfortable and something that always feels special to drive.

During Rob's ownership, the Cayenne has been carefully looked after and properly maintained, always treated as more than just a daily driver. It is one of those cars that does everything well. Plenty of performance when you want it, but also comfortable, practical and easy to live with day to day.

The condition of the car really reflects how well it has been cared for, both inside and out. The bodywork presents beautifully, the interior remains clean and well-kept, and mechanically it has been a dependable and enjoyable car throughout ownership. It has always been a car Rob have taken pride in owning, and he would like to see it go to someone who will appreciate it in the same way.

The reason for the sale is that Rob's wife now needs something smaller and automatic for everyday use, so unfortunately it is time for it to go.

Exterior

The first-generation Cayenne Turbo still carries serious road presence, with wide arches, muscular proportions and unmistakable Porsche styling.

Wheels and Tyres

The car sits on striking black multi-spoke alloy wheels, which suit the aggressive styling of the Cayenne Turbo perfectly and give it an even stronger stance on the road. The wheels present very well and contrast nicely against the deep blue bodywork, while the red brake calipers behind them hint at the serious performance underneath.

The sale includes the Original Cayenne alloys which are pictured.

The tyres are in good condition and complete the purposeful look of the car.

Seats and Carpets

The leather seats present very well and have clearly been looked after during ownership, showing only light signs of age in keeping with the age. Both the front and rear seats remain clean, supportive and comfortable, making the Cayenne just as capable for longer journeys as it is for everyday use.

The carpets also present nicely throughout and help maintain the tidy, well-kept feel of the cabin.

Dashboard

The dashboard layout is clean, functional and unmistakably Porsche, with everything positioned exactly where it should be for the driver.

The centre console, infotainment controls and instrument cluster all present well, while the classic Porsche dials and central display add to the driving experience.

Rob has assured us that everything is in full working order, with all major functions operating exactly as they should.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

The multifunction steering wheel remains in good condition and feels exactly as a Porsche should - solid, comfortable and properly driver-focused.

Mechanics

At the heart of the Cayenne Turbo is Porsche’s impressive 4.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8, delivering effortless performance and the kind of power that made these early Turbo models so special.

Engine and Gearbox

The twin-turbo V8 starts cleanly and pulls strongly, with no unwanted noises present on either the cold start or during the on-road video. Power delivery is smooth and effortless, exactly as you would expect from a flagship Porsche performance SUV.

Paired with the automatic gearbox, the car offers a refined and responsive driving experience, with gear changes remaining smooth and well-suited to both relaxed cruising and more spirited driving.

Suspension and Brakes

The suspension remains smooth and composed, giving the Cayenne the comfortable yet controlled ride quality it is known for.

Under Rob’s ownership, new struts and a replacement air compressor have been fitted, helping maintain both comfort and proper ride height operation.

The braking performance is strong and reassuring, with the large brakes offering excellent stopping power to match the performance of the twin-turbo V8.

The Drive

Everything works well as it should, and the Cayenne drives exactly as a Porsche flagship SUV should - smooth, powerful and confidence-inspiring.

It feels solid on the road, with excellent refinement and strong performance always available when needed. Whether used for daily driving or longer journeys, it remains an incredibly capable and enjoyable car to drive.

Electrics and Other

Rob has assured us that everything is working correctly at the time of our visit, with all major electrical functions operating as they should.

The only exception is the tow bar release, which is currently not functioning. Aside from this, the car presents as a well-maintained and properly cared-for example, with the rest of the vehicle performing exactly as expected.

This Cayenne Turbo presents as a well-maintained and genuinely cared-for example, with strong ownership and the condition to match.

The car comes with service history along with a good amount of invoices to support the work carried out over the years, helping to give real confidence in both the maintenance and ownership of the vehicle.     What is your reserve policy?

    A reserve is the minimum price a seller is willing to accept for their vehicle. We work closely with sellers to set realistic reserves that reflect current market values — we don’t take on vehicles with inflated or unrealistic expectations.

    If the reserve isn’t met when the auction ends, we’ll work with the highest bidder to try and agree a deal with the seller.

    Why shouldn’t I leave bidding to the last minute?

    Auto-Extending Bidding – we’ve developed auto-extending auctions that mimic traditional auction house bidding; it’s a key feature to make sure classic vehicles achieve their true worth. Bids placed in the last one minute automatically extend the auction by two further minutes. So there is no need to leave bidding to the last second.

    Security – we operate higher levels of security, so you may need to enter further authorisations against your stored card after you select ‘Place Bid’. All this takes time and may mean you miss the end of the auction by the time the authorisation passes. To guarantee your bid, we recommend at least five minutes are active on the auction when you place your bid.
