Unmistakable Porsche character, timeless design, performance, and presence in equal measure - all driven by the spine-tingling flat-six at its heart.
The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (997) represents the perfect fusion of classic 911 heritage and modern engineering. Building on the iconic design language of the 911, the 997 generation returned to a more refined, timeless aesthetic, with smoother lines, updated headlights, and a purposeful stance. The 4S model, in particular, stands out with its wider rear arches, all-wheel-drive system, and sports-tuned suspension, offering superior grip, poise, and confidence in all conditions.
Under the engine cover lies the legendary flat-six engine, delivering exhilarating performance and the unmistakable Porsche soundtrack. Every drive is a blend of precision, control, and engagement, capturing the essence of what has made the 911 a global automotive icon for decades.
Whether carving through country roads or enjoying a spirited drive on open roads, the Carrera 4S offers a rare combination of everyday usability and high-performance thrills, making it a highly sought-after model for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

I'M INTERESTEDAsk Questions
Hi, Peter yes it is in working order
Hi There doesn’t seem to be any images of the roof open? am I to assume it’s in full working order ? Peter 404
Hi Dave, Many thanks for showing an interest in the car I hope you like it, All the paperwork I have ever had with the Car is shown in the pictures in the history folder section, The oil usage is virtually Zero between services and you have probably seen from the cold start up video there is no concerning smoke when started and nothing when driven. I only decided to have the borescope done when I decided that the time had come for me to sell the car and knew it would be a question everyone would ask. The car has been looked after by Dave Griffiths Racing a Porsche Specialist in Shrewsbury originally by Dave then lately his son Ben and has had every niggle that needed doing done. ben knows the car inside out and I’m sure would have a chat about it. Obviously he is a busy man so if you do ring be mindful of that. The Car is a very genuine Original example and has been meticulously cared for. If I was keeping the car I would drive it without concern until it showed a lot more signs that the bores were an issue than it does now ( as it is showing none yet!) and then get a 4.1 Hartech rebuild done. In my opinion it would be possibly the best 997.1 C4S in the country then.
Hope that answers you question Cheers Garry
Thanks Gary, it does. In 2016 I see its had springs and some wheel spacers. Was the car lowered or where stock springs used?
Hi, the springs were genuine Stock Porsche replacement and the spacers were to make the wheels sit nicer in the arches
Hi Gary, Is there any history prior to 2010? I’ve read the borescope report and conscious of your limited miles in recent years. What has the oil usage been like between services? Thx Dave
1st Service Shown on the

Borescore check, IMS, clutch and coolant pipe replacement history please
Thanks for your interest Andy and hope you like the car. all work done to the car is in the history folder, so please take a look at that section on this listing, eg you’ll see a bore score report, invoices for work carried out on the coolant pipes in 207/2018 (all replaced) and it’s had seals done on diff and output shaft on gearbox. Nothing on IMS in my ownership. No invoice for new clutch but it is all good and doesn’t need changing. That’s all I can tell you really’ i.e what’s in the paperwork you can see. Thanks Garry
Thanks Garry. Apols for what looks like a stupid question. It didn’t show me all the history until I created an account. I can see it now.
No problem at all
