I have owned this car for approx 5 years now. I had Rileys in my twenties and bought this one as a retirement project. As I am now 80 she has to go before I do.

She presents well in two tone green over black - green doors and side panels, black bonnet and wings. This is a lovely combination in my view.
The wheels are steel and I have had them powder coated black.
All tyres have good tread. Front left-brand new.
The underside is fully under sealed.
The body work is all good.
The paint work is far from concours, but is good for the age of the vehicle and quite acceptable.
All glass is good.
I have put new chromed front bumpers on.
The chrome in other areas is a bit wanting.
She has lovely timber door trims and dash board, and I love the old soft leather seats. These combine to give the interior a really strong feeling of years gone by!
The seats are original and serviceable.
All door cards are fine, as are the carpets - which are nearly new.
The dash is timber and has a patina, but other than that is in fair condition.
The steering wheel is timber custom made for the car.
The mechanical condition is good overall.
I think that the engine is a Gold seal replacement.
The gear box works as it should - I have checked the clutch plate and it's nearly new.
The brakes have all been overhauled and are in good working order, as is the suspension.
Work was done on this about 200 miles ago.
The car starts first time after priming. There is no smoke and she pulls well.
The wiring is original and every thing works as it should except for the fuel reading, which I believe is a faulty gauge issue.
I believe it started life in Cornwall in summer 1948, and comes with a pile of receipts.
This is a 79 year old car and comes with some service history.
I have powder coated all the wheels black except for the spare.
The rear shocks have been reconditioned and new telescopic shocks have been fitted to the front.
