Born from Subaru’s formidable rally pedigree, the Impreza WRX STi was first launched in 1994 as a homologation model and quickly became a favourite among performance enthusiasts, tuners, and amateur racers alike. By 2007, the RB320 arrived as a Prodrive-developed special edition created in memory of 2001 World Rally Champion Richard Burns. Limited to just 320 examples, it featured unique ‘Obsidian Black’ paintwork, anthracite grey alloy wheels, vivid day-glow orange ‘RB’ accents, upgraded suspension, and a Prodrive-tuned 2.5-litre engine producing around 316 BHP.
Designed to excel on both twisting B-roads and track days, the RB320’s suspension upgrades sharpened high-speed composure while retaining the model’s famed all-weather grip. These enhancements helped cement its reputation as one of the finest and most desirable Impreza variants ever built.

Hi Alexander, I can’t find any additional paperwork but the front discs have no obvious wear and the pads have plenty of meat left on them. The rear discs have a very small lip (feels equal on both sides) and the pads are definitely worn but still have some some life left in them. Cheers, Jon
Hi Alexander, I’ve just seen your message. When I get home tonight I’ll see if I can find the spec of the KYB shocks. They were installed a few years ago (I think 2021 or 2022) so will be out of warrantee. But, the car has done very few miles since then, so they should be in good condition. I’m not sure re the discs/pads – again will check tonight to see if I can feel a lip/any wear on the discs. I’m afraid without removing the wheels, checking the pads is more difficult. But, I’ll see if I can find any receipts for pads. Thanks, Jon
Hi Jon. Would you pls advise the spec/description of the KYB shocks you have used? Is there any time left on the mnfrs warranty? Also, what is the mm on the disks and pads please? Thanks ever so.
Hi Charlie, I spoke with the garage, Its superficial rust (they said to be expected on a car of this age), just needs to be cleaned off, treated and then undercoated again. But if you have any concerns you are welcome to have the car inspected. Thanks, Jon
Sorry Charlie – almost forgot. In answer to your other question re modification, it is completely stock. That said I had to replaced the center section of the exhaust last year and given limited options, I purchased a direct replacement section from Scooby World.

thanks for your email. My understanding is that its superficial and that its an advisory to remind me the sills need cleaning and resealing i.e. preventative rather than replacement. As the car went into storage after the MOT I haven’t got round to undertaking this work. I’ll speak to the garage tomorrow and if any of the above is incorrect I will let you know.

Hi Jon. 2 questions please:
1. I note the latest MOT highlighted corrosion to both rear sills. I can’t see any reference to that in the advert. Please could you provide some more detail as to the level of corrosion, its location etc.
2. Other than the cruise control and dash cam connections, are there any other modifications to the vehicle?

There is a reserve set on all the cars, unless stated otherwise, but we can’t divulge it as it undermine’s the auction. There is no buy it now option, the auction has to run to the end, if it doesn’t meet reserve the highest bidder has the first refusal of a post auction deal, so its worth having your bid in.
