With its unmistakable styling, charismatic straight-six engine, and simple analogue feel, the TR6 remains one of the most enjoyable and usable classics on the market today.

Presented here is a very honest and well-kept example, finished in a superb colour combination of white with contrasting black detailing, offering a strong balance between usability, character and presence. It was imported in 1991.

Owned by Anthony for around a year and a half as part of a wider collection, this TR6 is now being offered for sale due to storage space reaching its limits. Exterior

Finished in white with black detailing, this TR6 has a fantastic period-correct look and presents very well overall.

Wheels and Tyres

The car sits on period-style steel wheels with TR6 centre caps, all of which present nicely and suit the car perfectly.

The Goodyear tyres appear in good overall condition and complement the stance of the vehicle well.

Bodywork

The bodywork overall appears straight and tidy throughout, with the panels fitting well and the car presenting strongly from all angles. As expected with a usable classic, there are a few age-related imperfections to note.

A crack is visible on the bonnet with some rust beginning to show beneath the affected area, which has been clearly photographed for transparency. The chrome bumpers also exhibit some dents and signs of age-related wear consistent with the character of the vehicle.

Paint

The white paintwork presents well overall and works perfectly alongside the black stripe and rear panel. The black stripe fitted to the bonnet is a removable sticker, so the next owner can retain the more sporting look or return the car to a cleaner, factory-style appearance.

The black interior presents very well overall, with the seats, carpets, and trim appearing clean, tidy, and nicely cared for. The cabin retains a wonderfully classic atmosphere and feels highly usable as-is.

Dashboard

One of the standout features of the interior is undoubtedly the beautifully finished wood dashboard, which gives the cabin a warm and period-correct feel. The gauges and switchgear present well overall, though it is worth noting that the fuel gauge is currently inoperative.

The wood-rim steering wheel suits the car perfectly and adds greatly to the driving experience and interior presentation.

The manual gear lever - with overdrive - maintains the simple mechanical feel that makes these cars so enjoyable to drive.

Mechanically, the TR6 appears to be a strong and usable example that is ready to be enjoyed.

Engine and Gearbox

The straight-six engine starts and runs well, with the car driving nicely and producing no unwanted noises during use. The engine bay presents honestly and remains nicely detailed without appearing over-restored.

The manual gearbox operates as expected and suits the relaxed but engaging character of the TR6 perfectly.

Owned by Anthony as part of a wider collection, the vehicle is now being sold due to an upcoming loss of storage space. A 1991 import, it's clearly been enjoyed and maintained as a driver-focused classic rather than preserved for show use, giving it an honest feel throughout. It comes with a heritage certificate.
