Introduction
Ashley Dawson
Few 1990s performance cars capture the spirit of their era quite like the Volkswagen Corrado VR6.
Launched as the flagship of the Corrado range, the VR6 combined sharp Giugiaro-inspired styling with Volkswagen’s unique narrow-angle six-cylinder engine, delivering smooth power and a distinctive soundtrack that set it apart from its hot hatch contemporaries. By 1995, the model had matured into a refined yet still thrilling driver’s car, blending everyday usability with genuine performance credentials.
Now firmly regarded as a modern classic, the Corrado VR6 offers analogue driving feel, purposeful design, and increasing collectability.
A true enthusiast’s coupé from Volkswagen’s golden era.
Coming fresh to market from over four year with our vendor, this Corrado has only four previous keepers and a current MOT valid until 11.06.2026.
This listing was written from information supplied by Ashley after meeting Trevor the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Hi Tom
The previous owner effectively took the car off the road for approximately ten year following a family death. They maintained the annual mot ( I have all of them) but covered a minimal mileage i.e. approximately 1000 miles in the ten years which accounts for the excellent bodywork and paintwork. There are invoices showing that maintenance continued and several service invoices.
Since my ownership in addition to services I have replaced the clutch and tyres and in addition replaced the cam chain and tensioner- a big job ( nearly £1400) which was carried out by Corrado specialist Stealth Racing.
I hope this answers your query…Good luck with the bidding!
Hi, Just looking through the service history. It shows it had a service at 16/07/2003 Service 72,675 and then not another one until 28/03/2022 Service 91,995. Is there any history of servicing during this period? Regards

Hi there
The spoiler works properly, deploying at about 45mph.
The tilt and slide sunroof worked the last time I used it, which was about six months ago.
There are no issues with the heater matrix, another Corrado foible.
Hello there. Does the sunroof both tilt and slide okay and does the rear spoiler function properly ?
Thank you.
