Jaguar really hit the nail on the head with the development of the F-Type - A proper, competitive, sporting coupe.

Lauded as a genuine replacement for the classic E-Type, the F-Type doesn’t disappoint and was big news when launched in 2013, being praised as being the sportiest Jaguar since the XJ220. And the eager press and public were not disappointed. As a genuine two-seater sports car, not only did the F-Type coupe and roadster undercut their rivals for the price, but build quality was not skimped on. The choice of materials, practicality and the styling often vie for first place in pub conversations when one might discuss the best reason to buy an F-Type.

With features on this particular model such as; Panoramic Glass Roof, Performance Braking system, Sports seats and Active Sports exhaust, this car comes to market from ~9 months ownership and just 2 former keepers registered. Exterior

Surprisingly practical, the F-Type also combines comfort and this one has the desirable panoramic glass roof.

Wheels and Tyres

This car was optioned with 19" "Centrifuge Silver" wheels, an exciting choice that helps to make this car stand out in the crowd. The wheels present in very good condition, as you'd expect given the mileage covered.

The wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero's (275/35 on the rear and 245/40 up front). Take a look through the exterior gallery where we show in closer detail the wheels and tyres across the car.

Bodywork

With all panels looking to align nicely we struggled to find an area that looked out of place on this car. It's apparent the car has been loved and well looked after over the course of its ownership, and benefits from low mileage compared to almost all other cars on the market.

Paint

A gorgeous coat of "Polaris White" brings the whole car together, and looking over the bodywork on our visit, the paint looks to be in a really great condition with even colour and finish across all panels.

Glass and Trim

A large swathe of beautifully reflective glass covers the top of the car providing the cover for the panoramic glass roof. Looking over the glass and trim reflected the quality of the rest of the car.

One thing to note as pictured, the small lower plastic strip affixed under the front bumper looks to have caught the ground and has some wear/damage to it. Beautiful craftsmanship, panoramic glass roof and comfy wrap-around sports seating - get in and hit the start button.

Seats and Carpets

Supportive sports seating finished in "Jet" black leather place the driver and passenger comfortably low in the cabin providing a great view over the sweeping bonnet. Looking over the seats and carpets show the vehicle in a great light. Just one thing to point out, a small mark to the drivers seat outer bolster.

Dashboard

Classic Jaguar styling doesn't just stop at the vehicle exterior, sweeping lines and quality materials are on show across the dashboard and interior sections, everything looking crisp as to be expected with the mileage.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

Coming with a sports steering wheel with 3 spokes and leather bound, it shows in a great condition. Black paddle shifters sit behind and provide an option for the automatic gearbox, again looking good on this car.

'ON THE ROAD' VIDEO

Mechanics

With ~340BHP on tap, delivered to the rear wheels via a quick 8 speed automatic gearbox, these sporting 2 seaters are a lot of fun.

Engine and Gearbox

On our visit, we did our usual start-up and out on the road video, the car sprung to life with no issues noted, and the engine bay presents in line with with mileage and usage of this car.

Suspension and Brakes

On the drive out Paul took us around some local driving routes, the braking felt to have no pull or vibrations that stood out to us when on the journey. We heard no knocks, bangs or squeaks from the suspension with the car sounding good.

The Jag was fitted from purchase with a performance braking system and branded silver callipers. Paul let us know that he had no issues with how the braking or suspension systems worked.

The Drive

The F-Type felt comfortable on our test drive, riding with no issues through our journey on the road. Steering felt great on the car with no shakes and there were seamless changes through the gears.

Growling exhaust noise and smart looks initially attracted Paul's attention - match that with low mileage and great overall condition and we can see why this Jag was snapped up by the current owner.

Electrics and Other

Whilst out on the road we tried the air con system which showed us no issues, working as it should when we were out on the road. Paul let us know that he had noted no issues when using the car in regards to any other electrical elements showing us the sat nav system also working when on the road review.

This well spec'd F-Type has covered ~13,600 miles, just 2 former keepers registered from new, and presenting in excellent condition, if you're in the market for an F-Type this deserves a close look.

We've detailed the MOT certificates and servicing detail carried out in the paperwork gallery section. Also included with the Jaguar is the owners handbook and 2 sets of keys to the car. The car carries a good set of additional paperwork including original purchase receipts and options list. It was last serviced ~4,000 miles ago in November 2021.
