Not only is it a proper sports car, mixing V10 power with incredible handling, 4-wheel drive and beautiful looks, but from the factory the R8 delivers 540BHP from the 5.2 litre V10 engine giving a staggering 0-60 of just 3.5 seconds.

This R8 features some tasteful additions, including a valved Capristo X-Pipe exhaust system and Maxton Design front lip and side skirt kit. Coming to us with only ~35,000 miles on the clock from current owner Adrian, this low mileage R8 has been garage stored, driven only in dry weather, and meticulously cared for.

Exterior

With its striking profile and aggressive stance, the Audi R8 screams supercar in all the right ways.

Wheels and Tyres

The 20" multi spoke alloy wheels are finished in stunning black paint, contrasting perfectly with the white bodywork and black/carbon accents across the car. The wheels themselves are free of damage, with no visible curbing.

Likewise the tyres, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, are in good condition too with no damage to the sidewalls and a good amount of tread left across the board.

Bodywork

The striking silhouette of the Audi R8 is flawless in its design and the condition of the bodywork is the same, with no evidence of any damage to any of the panels and no uneven panel gaps to be seen.

The car is optioned with OEM carbon wing mirrors, gloss black front grille, black decal pack, Maxton front splitter and side skirts.

Paint

The Ibis white paintwork is arguably one of the most underrated colours on the second generation R8's, especially when contrasted against the black highlights around the car - not to mention the carbon wing mirrors.

Adrian has gone to great lengths to ensure that the paintwork is well protected, having had the whole front end wrapped with Paint Protection Film by Reep Yorkshire shortly after purchasing the vehicle.

The images are taken from a few different angles to show off the car as you would see it if you were standing there for yourselves. Glass and Trim

The glass on the car is free of any cracks, chips, or scratches and the various accompanying trims are all in good condition too.

The carbon wing mirrors are free of any damage also.

Interior

With its futuristic design aesthetic and form hugging bucket seats that hold you firmly in place, the comfortable design of the R8's interior also serves to remind you of its fierce performance capabilities.

Seats and Carpets

The diamond stitched leather bucket seats are wonderfully comfortable, offering perfect amounts of 'grab' in the corners, and yet cushioning even the harsher bumps with ease. The seats in this particular R8 are in great condition, free from any signs of wear or damage whatsoever.

Likewise the carpets are in good condition, with the deep black pile showing no signs of wear.

Dashboard

The cockpit like design of the R8's dashboard gives the driver a feel of absolute control.

The dashboard is free of damage and wear, with all switchgear operating as it should as can be seen during our 'Interior Review' video.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

The flat bottomed 'R8' emblazoned steering wheel can't help but give you a sense of excitement - with its bright red "push to start" button and rear mounted flappy paddles.

Looking almost fresh out of the box the steering wheel is entirely undamaged and in fully functioning condition. Likewise the gear selector is in matching condition.

Mechanics

The Audi R8 is built around a naturally aspirated, Lamborghini designed, 5.2L V10 engine producing 540BHP and capable of propelling the car from 0-60MPH in just 3.5 seconds.

Engine and Gearbox

The Lamborghini built 5.2L V10 engine is not only reliable, but incredibly punchy, the naturally aspirated design provides the driver with a completely linear power curve capable of pinning you back in your seat at the drop of a foot.

During our 'On The Road' video you can see (and hear) the engine start from cold, which it does effortlessly and without issue. Later in the video you can see Adrian drive the car, demonstrating the valved Capristo X-Pipe exhaust, as well as telling you about various aspects of the cars performance.

Suspension and Brakes

The second generation Audi R8 features a double wishbone magnetic suspension setup, allowing for reduced body roll and precision manoeuvrability at speed, all while providing excellent comfort for the occupants.

The brakes appear to be in good condition with a reasonable amount of material left on the pads and no major lipping of the discs.

The Drive

With 540BHP at your disposal, it's impossible not to enjoy yourself in a car such as this.

However putting the performance aside for a second, the Audi R8 is actually a very pleasant place to be, with a comfortable interior, plenty of leg room, great visibility, and all the mod-cons you'd expect from a car like this - the R8 is as well suited to a 200 mile road trip as it is to it's 198MPH top speed.

Adrian, the owner, informs us that the car has not been launched.

Electrics and Other

During our time with the car we tried all interior electrics to make sure everything was working as expected - in our 'Interior Review' video you can see all interior electronics functioning as they should.

The car has been upgraded to Apple CarPlay and MMI is loaded with 2020 mapping.

Adrian will also be leaving his Road Angel system installed, which he estimates has another ~6 months of subscription left. Also the R8 indoor car cover that you see in the pictures will be included.

With services carried out at the country's most well-renowned R8 service centre, full front end PPF installation, and thousands spent in general maintenance, this Audi R8 is nothing if not well cared for.

Adrian has spared no expense in looking after his Audi R8 as can be seen when looking through the paperwork he has provided us with.

The last four services have been actioned by by REPerformance - arguably one of the countries top R8 specialist firms.
